It's Fun Friday! & Upcoming Giveaway!

I am so stinkin' glad it's Friday! I don't know if it's the weather or what, but I am super ready for the weekend!

Kelly, over at Teaching Fourth, is having a great Fun Friday linky party, which of course I am excited to join!
Teaching Fourth

It's nice to end the week thinking about fun things that we've done, or looking ahead to fun things I want to try. So here's my Fun Friday!

Make sure you head over to Teaching Fourth to link up with your Fun Friday!

On another note...I can't believe this little blog has almost 100 followers! Thanks so much to all my amazing followers. It is such an amazing experience to connect with so many great educators!

I can't wait to hit 100 and have a fun giveaway! If anyone is interested in helping out with a giveaway, shoot me an email....thanks!

Have a great weekend!

  1. I love teaching about similes. We are currently reading Poppy by Avi, and the students get so excited when they hear one. Thank you for sharing about the anchor charts. Those are great! I am so glad that you joined the linky party! I hope to see you again next week.

  4. Hi there - I found you through Teaching Fourth's linky party and I am now your newest follower :)

Figurative Language is my favorite thing to teach! We just did a unit on idioms (so fun!) and we're going to start similes and metaphors in a couple of weeks. I'll be checking back to see (and steal!) some of your ideas :)
