Random Monday Meet Up!

If you have been following me on Facebook, you already know that I had a job interview today. I'm trying to get a position in a district closer to my house.

I didn't get it, but I have another interview tomorrow AND another one on Thursday! I'm in a "whatever is meant to be will happen" frame of mind, so I'm not too bummed out. I really appreciate everyone's good thoughts from out there in Blogland and Facebookville!

I have really enjoyed The Teaching Tribune's summer blog series, so I thought I would join up to today's Monday Meet Up and share 3 completely random and non-teaching related things about me!

1. Music was, and sort of still is, a huge part of my life! I was in choir for a lot of years and music continues to be part of my life and my classroom. I still sometimes think about being a music teacher!

2. Of course, it was too long ago to have on any kind of video, but my mom swears this happened.

3. I know you want to see a pic of this. I will warn you - it's pretty terrifying. But if you really want to, you can scroll down and see it.

Be prepared to avert your eyes if it's too terrible.

Are you really ready?

Ok then....

I know it's small, but you get the idea.

Terrible, terrible hair choices in my past. Be kind...I was just a kid!

Well I think that's all the randomness for now. Don't forget to link up some randomness of your own!

I'm off to prepare for my interview tomorrow! Keep those good thoughts coming!

  1. Good luck on those interviews! I'll be thinking of you! How far is your current commute? I think we all made poor hair choices when we were 13, didn't we?? :)

  2. I got a perm about three times in my life...I'm not sure what I was thinking! Lol! Your perm looks just like mine! :)
