Five for Friday - almost Saturday!

It has been a crazy long time since I linked up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for a Five for Friday post! I'm so excited that I have 5 things that I can share...and that I actually took pictures of! Hah!

So here we go!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving at my parents' house! I was in charge of the pie...it turned out pretty yummy! And then we got to have leftovers tonight for dinner....perfect. :-)

I know this one is Thanksgiving related too, but I'm always so grateful for my amazing husband. Just for starters, his arms are long enough to take awesome selfies where I don't look like I have 13 chins! There's a lot more reasons to love him too...that's just one!

I know, I know! It's lame to work over break. But...I am getting ready to start new rounds of math workshop on Monday, so I went in and rearranged my bulletin board and got the bins ready with their new activities. I can't wait to get them started!

I found these at Kohls (NOT during Black Friday - that's not my thing) and I couldn't resist! They are living in the classroom and I'm sure they will have some awesome new third grade friends come Monday morning. :-) They were only $5 each!

Last, but not least, I spent some time working on a new product this week! I'm excited to share my 2D Shape Sort with Triangles. It includes shape cards, graphic organizers and sorting mats to use in centers. If you would like to check it out, please click the picture to visit my TPT store.

And, to go along with my new product, I will be participating in the Teachers Pay Teachers Cyber Monday sale! Everything in my store will be 20% and you can also enter the promo code CYBER for an extra 10%. I know I'm already filling up my cart!

Thanks to Creative Clips for the adorable button!
Have a great weekend everyone! Happy Friday!

  1. Oh, Kohl's Cares. I love their stuffed animals and books (get their early enough in the seasonal promotion and you can get nice hardcover books for $5, too).

Mean asthma control people in our district made us get rid of all stuffed animals. It was so handy in the library … a Clifford on the shelf above the Clifford books, a Grinch and … what's the dog's name? I forget … above the Seuss books. So handy. And I was mean and didn't let the kids play with them so they weren't grungy. But they made all the teachers get rid of them. :(

  2. Hi Nichole,

I popped over to visit you from the linky.

Your #2 made me smile - a good selfie is definitely something to be thankful for. :)
