This Currently is marking my commitment to get back on the blogging bandwagon. I actually have a lot of things I want to blog about, I'm just lacking the energy and motivation! The first couple of weeks of teaching my brand new third graders have knocked the wind out of me.
Don't get me wrong...I'm loving my class and I'm getting used to teaching a new grade. I'm just wiped out when I walk through the doors in the evening. This week, I'm planning on doing things differently, so you should see some more blogging coming your way - including a fun giveaway to celebrate this back to school season! Stay tuned!
In the meantime, here's my September Currently!
I think most of my Currently is self-explanatory, but here's a little more info:
Wanting: My sweet husband and I took a beautiful drive in Rocky Mountain National Park on Saturday. We had a great time together and saw elk, moose and a marmot! It was a beautiful day. :-) I would love to have a million days in a row just like it.
Needing: I have been lacking some serious motivation to blog, as I mentioned above. However, I have made one product that I put on TPT. If you are starting school this week, my newest graphic organizer might be helpful! Click the picture if you would like to grab it from my store...it's for sale for $1.00!
Taking Care of ME:
1. We have started doing Zumba with the DVDs at school! It is great to have a little team and we are going strong. We shoot for three days every week...we are going to keep it up!
2. You can probably tell from my Wanting that I don't make enough time for my little family. I need to be better about getting my work done at work, and making time for my hubby and puppies at home!
3. I've been using my fancy new coffee maker for three weeks, instead of going to Starbucks every day! I'm saving money and time in the mornings. It also helps me to take a few minutes in the morning and eat breakfast too! Go me!
Love this coffee maker! |
I hope you get to do everything you want! I hear you about the blogging thing! Once the school year starts I have a hard time taking the time to do it. I've been good this weekend, but it's unusual. Have a great day back tomorrow! :)

The Craft of Teaching
I totally agree with you about starting back to blogging. I took a much longer break than you though, like all year. But I am much more committed to it and planning things. I love that you have a Zumba group at school. I really want to try it!!

Stickers and Stamps
Hi Brittany! I hope we both get back on the blogging bandwagon! I definitely recommend Zumba...it's so fun! We are terrible at the dancing but we are moving! :-)

Good luck with your wanting! It can be such a challenge to balance all those demands we place on ourselves, but putting family first must be at the top of our list - I am constantly reminding myself of that! :)
