Five For Friday

Happy Saturday, friends! {It IS Saturday, right?}

Since my sense of time is all screwed up - what with the going to the bathroom whenever I want and all - I figured no one would mind if I posted my Five for Friday on {what I believe to be} Saturday.

Five for Friday is a fun link up at Doodle Bugs Teaching where you share 5 random things from the day or the week. Check it out if you haven't already!

I'm super excited that I signed up to participate in SLANT boxes! I've been seeing these amazing packages popping up all over Instagram, so I knew I had to check it out.

Each month you get paired up with two people - one to send a box to and one to receive a box from. I can't wait! There's even a theme to each month, so it makes it simple to get to know someone AND be on the lookout for adorable idea for the box. Click {here} or the image above to grab the details for yourself!

I have been fully immersing myself in summer...I love my summer routine! Dogs walks, breakfast and coffee on the deck and then - WHATEVER I WANT. Like blog stalking, Facebook updating and IG wandering. WHATEVER. I. WANT. It makes me happy to be on my own schedule!

I've been working on my resume...

It's not fun. Not fun at all. But I'm throwing it out there to see what happens. I'm kind of a "if it's meant to happen it will" kind of person.

I've been trying to eat better. What with all my free time and all, I figure I don't need to eat crap. Eating at home is a challenge during the school year for sure, but my hubby and I have agreed that it's time to start acting like adults. {Really? Who decided this? Me? Certainly not.} But we are trying.

Poached Cajun cod and asparagus, easy lunch, Crockpot Chicken Tacos...YUM!
Last but not least, I'm so glad to actually be reading. Books. For FUN. Here's what I've read lately...

I finished both of these and loved them both...for very different reasons. I have not seen the Fault in Our Stars movie yet...haven't decided if I want to. Has anyone seen it? Will I be disappointed? Because I loved the book...and I hate when the book and the movie are two separate things. Be sure to leave me a movie review in the comments!

Well, I think that's it! Don't forget to hop over to Doodle Bugs Teaching and share your 5 random things from the week!

Thanks for stopping by!
