Two For Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm happy to say I spent a gorgeous weekend in the mountains these past couple of days. I had an amazing time sewing with my mom and some other friends, and generally just enjoying and relaxing!

It did me good to get away!

But I am happy to be back home with my hubby and spoiled rotten dogs...

I am really digging summer, people! I'm loving time to blog and time to read...and time to take walks or watch Judge Judy if I so desire.

It has also given me a great opportunity to catch up on blogging! So today I'm linking up with The Teaching Tribune for their Two for Tuesday linky...the idea is to link up with 2 products from your store and get a little two-fer deal in there as well!

Here are my two best-selling TPT products...marked down to 50% off for today only!

First up is my 2D Shape Sort: Quadrilaterals. This product includes shape cards (all quadrilaterals) and several graphic organizers for sorting and classifying. If your school uses Thinking Maps, the quadrilaterals work great with those as well! My favorite part of this activity is that students have to explain why and how they sorted the shapes. It really gets to the heart of properties of shapes! You can see a more detailed post about it {here}.

Today this baby will be only $1!!

My next most popular product is my 2D Shape Sort: Triangles! This product is very similar, except it deals only with triangles and their attributes. This product also includes graphic organizers, shape cards and sorting mats. Unfortunately, I made this before I knew I was teaching 3rd grade, so I didn't get to use it this year! :-( I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will get to use it with my 6th graders in the upcoming school year. Maybe someone who has used it would want to guest blog about how it went? Or maybe someone wants to try it out before the end of the year and blog about it? If you are interested in trying it out for me, let me know!

This product will be $1.25 today!
I am so excited to share these with you and I hope that many of you might find them useful!

I have been toying with the idea of a general 2D geometry sort as a product...would that be more helpful in the younger grades? Let me know what you think!

Thanks so much for stopping by...don't forget to jump over to The Teaching Tribune and check out more great Two-For Tuesday products!

  2. Just found your blog through The Teaching Tribune and LOVE it! I had two golden babies as well who were totally spoiled. One of my babies didn't make it through her surgery the other day, but your pics brought a smile to my face. Make sure to give them some extra hugs from me! Thanks so much for sharing these geometry sorts. I'm on my way to your shop now to purchase. XO

    1. I'm so just kidding...I just went to purchase the 2D shape sort and I already own it! I actually had to make it for groups this past year because I had run out of copies. So I used the graphic organizers in the plastic sheet protectors and made the shape cards larger using scrapbook paper to add a pop of color! I am going to buy the triangle sort though ;) Someone needs a nap...lol!

    2. Hi Melissa! Thanks for stopping by! Your second comment cracked me up...I do this all the time on TPT! Thanks for sharing how you used the cards...I love the idea of enlarging them a bit and making them colorful. Let me know if you ever blog about using them! I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet pup...extra hugs will be given. :-)

Thanks for commenting and for being a customer at my store!
