Five for...Saturday, right?

It must be Saturday already because my husband isn't going to work.

So I guess I'm posting Five for Saturday instead of Friday! Thanks to Doodle Bugs Teaching for hosting this every week!

 

I went to new hire orientation this week. New district, but same basic stuff. Luckily, there was free coffee. So, two of my favorite things. *Free* and *coffee.* Now it's just a matter of getting ALL. THE. PAPERWORK. turned in. To the right people. Before a certain date. So I can get paid. 

I started (and finished) moving my classroom this week. WHEW!!! Do I look exhausted in this pic? I am. Everything I own - classroom wise - is now in it's new home. Is it unpacked, you ask? NO. I'm not able to unpack everything yet because they were laying new carpet. And now there's bubbles in the carpet. And I am certainly NOT stressing out about it. Why do you ask??? ;-)

I tried to distract myself by having lunch with a friend. And then we did some teacher shopping. I have never been more sad about LOVING planbook.com. Because I do love it. BUT I LOVE THE BRONCOS. They have this planner AND a Broncos border...it probably wouldn't hurt me to have planbook.com AND this, right? RIGHT??

PS When is football season starting?

We had a delicious dinner with some good friends at a VERY yummy restaurant this week! One of the dessert items was an {adult} milkshake and WARM chocolate chip cookies. WARM. It was so delicious! Sorry for the dark picture but it was...dark.

I was sorting through old pictures on my phone when I found this one. During testing, we have to turn in ALL phones to the office. One year when I forgot to turn mine off (and apparently before passcodes were invented) one of our secretaries wrote me this note, grabbed a picture of it and then put my phone back. When I got it back later, this is what I found in my pictures! It made my day then and it made my day now. Even though I am excited about a new adventure in my new school, I will miss my friends (really like my family) so much. I'm glad I have such good memories to hang on to!!
