Good News to Share!

It seems like forever since I've posted anything on the blog! You know how time flies when a lot is going on in your life? THAT is what has been happening to me.

If you are a Facebook or Instagram follower, you already know the great news that I have to share...

I accepted a position at a new school!

I will be a 5th grade teacher next year, which is amazing. It's my favorite grade of all time to teach!

My new school is closer to my house by about 15 minutes, which means I will get 30 minutes of my life back EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Maybe I can use the 30 minutes to work out or something. Probably or something.

I am teaching in a new district as well, so lots and lots of learning will be happening I'm sure!

As you can imagine, my days have been looking a lot like this:

And this...

And of course, some of this:

And then {maybe} this after a long day of packing...

But, I digress.

I am working really hard to figure out how to arrange my new digs and make sure that I have room for everything I'm moving in.

It's a huge adjustment, but I can't wait and I am VERY excited.

I also just hit 350 Bloglovin' followers! Sooooo....

I really want to celebrate, so I'm going to have a giveaway here on the blog! If you are interested in being a participant in the giveaway, please fill out the Google form below!

  1. Congrats on the move to fifth grade! You must be psyched, but packing up your classroom looks horrible. I had to move to the classroom next door to mine last year and it was miserable- and there was even an adjoining door! haha.

  2. Congrats! A shorter commute is a LIFESAVER. Not that I would know, anyway. I've only had the rotten one since December but I dream of going back to the short one. 5th grade ... FUN!
